Balance and Conditioning
As we age, our physical condition becomes increasingly important to maintain independence and prevent falls. The Australian & New Zealand Falls Prevention Society reports that around 30% of adults aged over 65 falls at least once a year.
Our Balance and Conditioning sessions are aimed at improving our clients’ strength, endurance and balance. We challenge their physical capabilities in a safe environment to reduce the risk of falling and increase physical function.
Prior to commencing Balance and Conditioning we conduct a comprehensive assessment, using these measures to monitor improvement and alter the program accordingly. In each session clients perform exercises in our gym using many types of equipment. We take pride in offering this important service and love seeing the improvements that each client makes!
